On July 28, 2026, the Installation Ceremony of the office bearers of the Interact Club for the academic year 2026–27 was held at Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara English Medium School, Dharmasthala, under the guidance of the Rotary Club of Belthangady.
The programme was conducted in accordance with the official Rotary protocol and was inaugurated by the Installing Officer, Rotarian PHF Sandesh Kumar Rao, Past Secretary of the Rotary Club of Belthangady.
The chief guests for the occasion were Rotarian Praveen Gore, Chairman of the Interact Clubs, and Rotarian Reshma Divakar Hegde.
Miss Anujna, a Class X student, presented the annual report of the Interact Club highlighting the activities of the previous academic year.
The newly elected office bearers for the year 2026–27 are:
President: Tejas S. (Class X)
Vice President: Amit (Class IX)
Secretary: O. M. Alpin (Class VIII)
Treasurer: Nidhiksha (Class X)
The Installing Officer administered the oath of office to the newly elected leaders. The newly installed President, Tejas S., presented the club’s annual action plan and assured everyone of his commitment to serving with dedication and leadership.
On the occasion, the Rotary Club honoured the students who secured First and Second Ranks in Classes VIII, IX, and X during the previous academic year.
Addressing the gathering, Rotarian PHF Sandesh Kumar Rao encouraged the students to embrace the ideals of service and leadership in their lives.
The Headmistress of the school, Mrs. Parimala M. V., offered words of guidance and encouragement to the newly elected office bearers. Later, Rotarian Reshma Divakar Hegde conducted an interactive session on “Mental and Emotional Well-being.” The students actively participated and gained valuable insights into the importance of positive thinking and emotional wellness.
The programme was witnessed by the students and teachers of the school. Ms. Shreya D. P., a Class IX student, compered the programme. Ms. Anusha, Assistant Teacher, welcomed the gathering, and O. M. Alpin, a student of Class VIII, proposed the vote of thanks.
